we'd planned on going to the championship game but our plans changed and now we're leaving town wednesday so i had to put the tickets up for sale. (we're going to USA/Sweden tonight instead, sigh....) so i picked an amount that felt ridiculous (>2x face value) because i thought they'd eventually sell for that once USA/Canada was locked in. well, as soon as finland won yesterday, they sold. like the minute the game ended.

now, after saturday night's game, i have a little remorse i didn't put them up for twice face value or more. someone just told me you can't get into the building for less than $1200 and our tickets were loge level, 15th row.

I think me and my wife are going to the game against Utah (lol) and based off current prices of 2 tickets (waiting to see if they drop more) I could buy like 20 more tickets and still probably not be at what I paid for game 5. It's best to not think about it.

I knew Finland has no real chance but was still gutted [sigh]. Glad that they made the eventual scoreline more respectable, and even happier that all our guys played well - happy for Reino in particular after the last couple of games.

Not sure who to support now that the two Europeans are out. Reinhart & Bennett vs Tkachuk? Decisions decisions...

I haven't watched every minute of the Finland games but it definitely feels like I've noticed Lundell more than most of the star finnish players (Aho, Rantanen, Hintz) maybe just my bias though.
