Oh yeah, Matthew Tkachuk and his "warrior" qualities made a real big f***ing difference for the Americans with his ass on the bench.

Who played by far the most minutes? Makar.
Which game did Canada lose and their offense was mostly kept to the outside the entire game? The one Makar was sick for.

I'm glad they stopped it there because it got kinda filthy after this.
Hopefully for the Olympics both teams are 100% healthy. Canada still has the edge of course, but f*** that game would be fun. I so missed these heat pounding hockey moments. Avs need to go far this year damnit! Val needs to learn how to fool those damn piss tests.

Simple fact, Matthew Tkachuk was too banged up to play more than 6 minutes and they benched Chris Kreider.
Stupid decisions are met with stupid results. Matthew Tkachuk deserves to be shit on and have egg on his face for how he basically made this tournament about him and not about the country he was supposed to be representing.

Yeah I'm very happy Canada won but it's definitely too close for comfort and Binnington had to steal that game in OT.
With M. Tkachuk hurt + Quinn Hughes and McAvoy missing, Canada needs a better lineup next year in Milan if they want Gold.

I thought Dylan Larkin had a great game tonight.
He was flying out there. He also made so many good defensive plays in both zones, the number of times he stopped Canada’s breakout at the blueline was crazy.

Nate didn’t have the most points but had the most goals in the tournament. I guess goals are the most important thing in hockey. It got Nate the MVP of the tourney

He played like Marner but without the good bits.
Marner was essentially invisible for most of the games but pulled good shit at the right time.
Jack Hughes looked drunk.
He's looked very mediocre this season. Looks very timid compared to the version of himself that won the Norris. Very disappointing.
I mean it's true though. How Hughes has played this season, he would have been USA's best player. Losing him is like Canada losing MacKinnon or McDavid. One scored the opening goal in this game and the other scored the GWG. The USA needed that, you can't beat a Canadian team this deep twice, likewise if Canada won in Montreal. They weren't beating this USA twice either.
The joke is on you lot though, you are cheering on TrashBin.
