Let's be honest.

Bednar would absolutely hate Wilson when he goes out of his way to take somebody's f***ing head off and gets his usual suspension(s).

Yep, that's why I think he'd be a perfect Bednar player...except for his tendency to actually be a psychopath. If he were just a big guy, that used his size, speed and defensive acumen he'd be one of Bednar's favourites. It would be fun having Wilson though. We'd have two wingers that play hockey the way Bednar likes, one has off ice hookers and blow issues, the other wants to end the lives of his colleagues.

Let's be honest. Everytime a player shows any inclination towards physicality Bednar sees himself in that player and since he never made it to the NHL, the player in question shouldn't have either. He absolutely loathes anyone who might so much as wrinkle another players' jersey.

I remember Lappy talking mad shit about eating onions and garlic before games so that when he was leaning on people in the corners and in scrums it would be as uncomfortable as possible for them. I love Ian, but he would never have survived as long as he did here if Bednar was coach.

It's wise to notice that Nate never said McDavid was better than him. It's one thing to be considered the best/most skilled player in the league. It's a completely different thing to be a god-damned champion.

Nate may appear humble here, but make no mistake... he knows his engine is the most finely tuned in the league.

One thing's for sure, Nate loves to compete against someone like McDavid, and show that he might be better than them. At least on that day or that series.

Always thought Mikko would be Han Solo but it turns out he's too much a mercenary to come in at the last moment to save the day.

The closest we've got to Solo on this team is JD. Boy could have cashed out and left us high and dry but took another one year deal to stick around 'cause he's in love with our princess.
