Makar and Mackinnon have been really meh

Felt all game like Cale had a bit of nerves. Passes really off the mark and not his usual hands with the puck.

Remember the last time he played for Canada he was being benched for guys like Jake Bean. This is a bit new for him playing for his country with all these All Stars in a competitive game.

Really shows how ridiculously good they both are. And it is both of them. Everyone gives Cale his dues but people sleep on just how consistently high end Toews is.

Honest question guys - would y'all say these players are playing 100% balls to the wall like they would in playoff hockey, or is this a bit like the ASG where the players put in 50-70% of the effort?
