Since then he's 9-19. He's 1-4 in his last two playoffs, playing for actually a decent Jets team.
Last year he was an absolute disaster.

Well, he’s probably going to win the Vezina for the third time. He looked ok to me on Saturday. But, yeah, I guess we can’t trust him. Binnington is clearly the better of the two.

And 5 forwards did fall apart in from of him. No sure he is to be blamed on the Finns 2nd and 3 rd goal. For me, those saying Selke Marner did not watch a real Selke player Boston had for 20 years. I personally dislike Marner's game.

He and our Canadian folk panicked in a 4-1 last minute game. Scary.

Watching Marchand and Bennett side by side is weird but that line was good today. I wonder if they will try to match them up with the Tkachuks on Thursday?

Thursday is going to be a heck of a game I think. Goaltending is a mismatch but the rest should be pretty darn good hockey.

Hellebuyck's 2021 playoff run was good too. Jets got swept by the Habs in the 2nd round, which obviously was far from ideal, but Helle really wasn't to blame and his numbers for that postseason are very respectable - .931 and a 2.23 GAA.

But for sure his last two have been poor. I think the biggest contributor though is Winnipeg overplay him in the regular season, so he's burnt out come playoffs time. Which they're doing again this year because they appear to be stubborn, but that's on them. Regardless, as long as Connor is fresh I'd back him to handle the pressure of the final. Any goalie can have a bad night of course, so we will see, but my guess is if the US do come up short, it won't be because of him.

Somebody on the SN crew said that Cooper went with Binnington again today because he likes the way he handles the puck

I was hoping to see Hill in one of the games so far, but now Cooper is most likely stuck with Binnington for the final game

It's not like Binnington's numbers have been good this season

A friend I used to work with (years ago) used to buy a game or two to take his young son. The kids loved sitting next to the team. Over the years he would come to the games and come say HI. Now Zack (the kid) is just out of college and will occasionally come visit us. He sent me a message to see if we were going tonight. I said no...to $$$$...He purchased his seats (in 728) a long time ago for a lot less than what they are selling for now.

I hope he has a blast.

Brady’s a beast. Poor guy never has had a chance to play in the playoffs. I Go to a handful of Sens games every year and this guy doesn’t take a game/shift off.

There’s no other pugilist in Ottawa, this guy has to answer the bell. Its a shame because he can control the game when he’s on the ice being Brady the player.
