There was certainly a strong argument to be made about this, Swayman would have returned a bigger package too.

The Finns are a really scrappy bunch, probably the least talented team on paper, but really battling so far both games

I was blown away by how good the U.S. looked the other night against the Finns. Tonight's game should be sick.

Does a regulation win essentially lock USA in the final? Canada could only max out at 5 points and Finland could reach 6 but since we beat them we'd have the tiebreaker?

I was so biased in his favor when he was one of ours. I watched him a lot when he was in Buffalo. He somehow managed to put up sparkling numbers on terrible teams. I was so glad when we got him. I thought Sway was the best choice against Toronto in last years playoffs because Linus doesn't cover his posts as well as Jeremy but I still thought overall we traded away the better goalie. At least we got Kastelic. He has been very good for us.

They're all must-win games. There isn't an easy out in the bunch... Sweeden is going to give the US a battle, and the Fins are going to do the same with Canada.

This is true, any of the 4 teams could win it all. I do like this much better than the boring all-star game weekend.

Those Finland white sweaters are the best uniforms of the tournament. Their black ones, not so much. Gonna be hard to read the numbers for the play by play guys.

I like Emily Kaplan. I prefer her to the WWE lady that TNT uses.

I'm also enjoying ESPNs On The Ice bar at the bottom of the screen. Its nice to know who's on the ice, since a lot of these guys are playing with different numbers.

Regulation W tonight for the USA and they're locked in the final game regardless the outcome of this afternoons game.
