I have been in a meeting where we weighed our options for moving 4 TV trucks from Montreal to Boston in a 12-hour window during a major weather event. The trucks must be in Boston by 1 PM on Sunday and won't leave Montreal until 1 AM.

We have ruled out I-89 as too risky which leaves I-87 and I-91. I-87 is longer but less mountainous but is also known for dangerous icing.

I voted for I-87 because US Customs in Champlain, NY can deal with trucks better.

careful whichever route you take friend. That looks like an eerily familiar breakfast for this guy. Can`t tell you how often we`d finish our shifts in Ottawa on Friday night, race down the highway, hit all the "disco`s", wake up foggy the next day and drive a plate of this into our guts

From @BruinDust in the last thread:
"I would like to see the regular season start earlier (I'd have camp open the Wednesday after labour day, start playing 3rd week Sept.) but I'd say the same even without a mid-season tourney. In my perfect NHL, the cup is awarded before the Victoria Day/Memorial Day weekends in May. Once the warmer weather hits, you've lost me unless the Bruins are involved."

Yes, yes, yes. A thousand times, yes. Summer is pretty much over by September, and I am always ready for hockey by then. It's hard to watch hockey in mid-June unless, as Bruinsdust said, the Bs are in it.

I agree, the season needs to start in September and end a few weeks earlier.

June is awards & draft, Cup celebration

July 1 Free Agency & DC

August off

Camps start around 10th September 3 weeks of camp

I like this

I would add - but it would never happen - a 75 game season max. Give more time for practice and time in between games vs what they have now. Make for better hockey too IMO

I just saw a tweet saying Makar went off the ice and Thomas Harley Skated on with Video and then it Disappeared, Vanished gone in a blink of an eye. No idea if it was legit or what, but now its gone.

Does anyone else use Directv stream? My app is showing the game as airing tomorrow at 1pm.

I have DirecTV stream and it lists the game as 8 PM tonight, 2/15/2025.
