this game was far more entertaining than I expected. can you imagine what level of hockey we might see in really meaningful games at Olympics?

and one more thing. all this talk about McDavid, MacKinnon, Kucherov is all and good but Crosby is still one of the best if not the best when it comes to hockey. sad thing that I hate him with passion

Didn’t Raymond leave the ice with an injury? If he went down with something more serious then come talk to me about how great it is.

If this weren’t a mid season made up tournament smack in the middle of the Wings playing great as they push to make the playoffs for the first time in 8 seasons, I might feel differently.

Right now all I care about is my favorite team trying to make the NHL playoffs. I can watch the Olympics next year. I don’t know why that’s so hard for some people to accept. You love it? Great! Enjoy.

I just could not disagree more.

Agree with you 100%. It pains us all as Wings fans to admit that 87 is great. That said, I don't hate on him all that much anymore compared to 2008 - 2015 or so. It helps that Marchand and Lucic are much bigger d-bags, but I digress.
There is no denying talent, but 3rd best of all time? He is the 3rd best of all time... Pittsburgh Penguin that is.
