That's crazy if Finland can succeed after losing their 1D (Heiskanen) 2D (Ristolainen) and Best PK D (Hakanpää).

That defence will be so weak, after adding Välimäki, Jokiharju and Matinpalo to replace those injuries.

Offence will be nothing but great. Greatest ever for Team Finland.

Statesmen act like Euro sports are second rate compared to ours, and our leagues... mostly because they are...

Could you even imagine Lebron James... Megatron (Calvin Johnson) ... playing soccer... The rules would have to be changed... United States sent out an athletic dork on the Tennis court for a while just to prove they could dominate. Some family with the next Adrian Peterson will switch up sports to just prove another point if the soccer crap keeps up.

All Joking aside, United States won't produce good soccer players till the money is right. Talents all there to be good at soccer, dedication from a small age is somewhere else with American athlete's for... 'whatever' reason. I say money. No young athletes in my time (long ago) heard about Millionaire soccer stars or mid-level school's giving full ride scholarships for average soccer players vs football/basketball. It's one of the better paying women's sports here though and ergo, we're pretty good on the national stage(*women).

It is the second-most watched football tournament in the world after the FIFA World Cup; the Euro 2016 final was watched by a global audience of around 600 million.

Super Bowl has like 1/5th the audience btw.

It's also almost better tournament than World Cup, because the weakest teams at Europe - who qualify for the Euro tournament - are a lot better than weakest teams who qualify for the World Cup. And only Brazil and Argentina will add on the Contender level.

World Cup is more global, It's a different, maybe more fun, but the quality of competition is overall worse.

They've been joining our football/baseball/basketball culture pretty well though. America is still awesome, media try's to slander every minute but it's still a good melting pot here. The people do not hate each-other as bad as they want you to think.

America invited football, and the sport exemplifies a lot of what the country is... of course Europe will hate it. Zero caviar served and everyone speaks the same languages. I mean how are we supposed to trash talk back in that situation, eating that healthy throws us off and do you really expect us to learn a 2nd language?
