Congratu-f***ing-lations to McDavid and all my Canadian brothers/sisters. Dude deserves Cross of Valour for that stunt. Huge respect, HUGE.

But you gotta admit, our soon-to-be 11th province did put up a good fight. I mean the new premier is a total lunatic but, you know, you take what you can get.

Pretty good for the us viewing.

They say for Canada

In Canada, Sportsnet said the game averaged 5.7 million viewers and peaked at 7.3 million when Connor McDavid scored the OT winner. Add in 1.18 million viewers on TVA, as per Adam Seaborn of Better Collective, and the game averaged nearly seven million viewers. Canada’s population is 40 million.

I understand the impact Brady had on Team USA, which is why I framed my comment towards it sucks to be a Senators fan watching that. By playing with that extra fire and pride this past week (and getting hurt enough to miss numerous key games), Tkachuk may have created a situation that has the team missing the playoffs and him leaving Ottawa. Basically, they won't get to see that level of effort from him wearing their jersey.
Maybe blame the nhl if you think it was a conspiracy.

They have to start as a territory. Maybe in 20 or 30 years they can become a province.

That's a helluva lot of tears.

It was a good game. I’m sure the sports fans were very entertained.

Bennett scored a goal on a nice pass. I don't even consider $6+M for that player. And Hagel is closer to worth that, then Bennett is to $6+
With a huge jump in the cap guys like Bennett will get $6M+ routinely. I am non anti-Arvidsson but next year I'd exchange Bennett at $6M for Arvidsson at $4M quite easily. Similarly, I'd take Bennett at $6M over Kane at $5M going forward. Now could the Oilers add Bennett at $6M next year without moving out one of these guys? That is tougher to do. But really it would only be for 2025-26 that it would be much of an issue.

Sure, you guys see Bennett as a much better player than I do, which is a major difference as well.
