One of the best parts of these international tournaments is the sportsmanship between nations. I hope to see Draisaitl play for Germany again soon, they might surprise some people.

Didn’t feel too sportsmanlike with the USA but that kind of reflects the state of the world right now

I need a safe place to ask this. Was that the most douche-bro sounding crowd you've ever heard? Like in between the exciting plays? It was really weird at times, like some sort of monolith vs the typical crowd sound made up of thousands of different voices. Maybe it's a Boston thing that I never noticed before.

I thought the sound mixing was horrific. Why all the crowd noise the whole game over the announcers?

His last shift was about 3 minutes into the second period, he left to see the trainers than sat on bench rest of game.

Tbh he probably shouldn't have dressed, even in the first period he was kind of labouring and slow, and flying by on hits.

I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say Binnington had the best save sequence in Team Canada history during that OT.

He made like four saves in a row that all probably should’ve gone in.

Happy for U Canadians!

It was great tournament and now compare that to regular All-Star weekend. What a difference to watch these as hockey fan, meaningful games where best meet the best.

And in the end it is our Connor who makes the golden goal! Super happy for him too!

Marner and Bennett played well and without Binnington there wouldn't have been any overtime. Kudos to Jon Cooper as well, Canada's game improved during the tournament and even without their peak level it was enough, in short tourney it is hard to find the best line chemistry etc. In Olympics you will be even harder to win but let see how it plays out then.

I knew Makar was a good skater but holy crap did he get to Connor quick after the goal lol.

Such a great player, this tournament only increased my respect for him. Unlike the Keith and Seabrook pairing, Makar and Toews are nothing close to equal partners.

I was always excited for this but who would have thought the tournament would turn out like this?

Everyone was paying attention to this game. The view counts have to be unreal.

The players gave it there all, they took it seriously, which is what made it so fun.
