Definitely bask in this win, but this sets up an awesome rematch in the next Olympics. Hopefully Canada makes some changes to ice an even better team. It'd be great if they could add some guys to run the Tkachuk's shows as well. Tired of those f***ing goofs.

This tournament was a homerun for the NHL, highly competitive littered with intriguing storylines and a classic finals game. Don't usually say this about the NHL so they should get props when it works.
It's probably gonna be weird for McDavid to go from such a high to flying to Philly immediately for a set of back to back afternoon games in a day and a half during the dog days of the season. At least Boston is a relatively short flight to Philly.

Nice story book ending to this tournament, especially for McDavid. That was his version of the golden goal.

As unlikeable and arrogant as team USA was, one must give them credit for their effort. They pushed us to the brink and thankfully Bennington came up clutch when it mattered most. This game was an eyelash away from being lost.
