So happy that Connor ended it. He was awful all night... Maybe one of his worst games ever. Nothing was going right for him. I suspect he might be sick though... his voice sounded that way at the end.

If the US had won.. I don't think we would hear the end of it about Connor not coming through in big games. Loved that he didn't want to celebrate too hard with that trophy ... You can tell he wants the real Trophy over his head lol.

I let my 9 year old son stay up to watch the OT and there is nothing better than watch his twinkling eyes watch McDavid celebrate after the goal, just a pure genuine smile and wonder.

Amazing moment to share with him.
