That's a serious blow to Sweden's chances if he indeed does not play.

Unreal, terrible string of luck.

He should just retire and take up golf, he just had abdominal surgury a few months ago. That and get different doctors, the ones he has can't seem to get him healthy.

His rumoured status as injured is greatly exaggerated. He claims that his abdominal muscles are a bit stiff but he has no trouble skating. Also, he played in a game with Modo versus Tommy Salos old team Västerås (currently in the 2nd tier league). Nobody has yet reported him to be "injured" in such a way that he is out of the World Cup.

Peter's doctor said today that he will get worse if he plays world cup, but Peter's iron will to play is taking over. He is going to try. He really wants to play with naslund.
