Late additions celebrating a championship is kinda like entering the theatre fifteen minutes before the movie ends and then weeping during the touching ending. Like Mr Sillanpää mentioned, it isn't fair for the rest of the players either. I'm all for setting the deadline between games three and four, but the IIHF would never pass up the opportunity to let superstars promote the game.
Having said that, I do think that Tre Kronor is a more exciting team with Forsberg and Lidström.
