A solid defenseman who wasn't afraid to use his body. Was great to watch in his prime. Also, a Russian player who decided to leave the KHL to come to North America when he could definitely have stayed in Kazan. IIRC a lot of us myself included thought he would never come. And now captain for Bob Hartley in Omsk.
