Yeah, that's pretty wild. IIRC he was captain of Canada's WJC team. How does a guy like that just disappear from the scene at such a young age?I just saw someone mention Comtois and crazy how he just dropped off and never spoke of again. What a strange lil career. Almost forgot he existed
It took them until now to find that out? Hasn't he been out for a while?Looks like Hampus' season is done - fractured patella.
I think it was just them keeping it on the down low until it looked like surgery was unavoidable. It took them until now to find that out? Hasn't he been out for a while?
I'm basing this on my local footy team here in Australia, but we had a player undergo minor surgery to remove a couple of screws out of their ankle as it was causing irritation and started to become infected. Could possibly be the same thing here. This article is interesting. They say he had surgery in November and now they plan to go in again and remove some hardware that is irritating him during his rehab.
When I wanted irritating hardware removed (a clavicle plate), the first thing the doctor told me was I had to wait 12 months before he would do that. (In my case it had already been 18 months). I’m not sure why they are rushing in again before he’s actually healed.

Well, for sure if it's getting infected you don't mess around with that. Hopefully Hampus will be fine.I'm basing this on my local footy team here in Australia, but we had a player undergo minor surgery to remove a couple of screws out of their ankle as it was causing irritation and started to become infected.
