Ducks-related ZSC Lions update:

Chase De Leo is no longer a Lion (hockey gods back to hating fun) after a mutual contract termination last week. Seemingly couldn't adjust to the larger ice, seen a couple of insinuations that he didn't have the best attitude about working his way up when he didn't come out flying.
Aged poorly, but there was also a decent article after the signing that discusses the Kazakhstan situation a bit, if anyone was curious. Also him not returning to the Gulls was apparently a Gulls decision.

Derek Grant is the Lions' leading scorer (11-12-23 in 22 games).

What a bummer. I liked De Leo and thought he was great with the Gulls. They are desperate for scoring especially at forward; I wouldn't be upset with a reunion.
