form of Travel in Juniors?

You realize most teams will kick them off or bench them if they drink. Nightlife is a none issue, every player has a curfew.

Teenagers drink to get drunk, they don't just drink. Can you think of any of your friends in highschool who drank just to drink? I can't, they all drank to get drunk, and that's a no no. Canadian junior players are not going out a couple times a week and getting drunk, that's definitely against the rules.

This started because I said nightlife isn't a factor, because players aren't going out to clubs or bars. Nightlife isn't a factor, NHL teams don't like it when their players are out at an establishment near gamedays, for kids who are full time students as well as full time players. it's even worse. They're not living on their own either, don't know where you got that idea from.

Guys might not really think about night life when considering where to live when playing in the OHL at least, but these guys definitely put it to good use.

These kids arent all out getting **** faced every night but they definitely party. I've got a couple buddies in the O and a few more friends who hang out with guys in the O. I have buddies who always party with Greg Mckegg when hes home, I know a guy who almost got in a bar fight with Kassian in Windsor (lucky for him he didnt lol) and have been told theres some certain players on the knights who REALLY like to drink now.

People who thinks there isn't a lot of drinking going on amongst junior hockey players are kidding themselves. when i was in university i knew a lot of guys on the Kingston Frontenacs (one of my friends was dating an assistant coach at the time)...and they went out drinking quite frequently. they'd go to bars and clubs no problem...and age certainly wasn't an issue...if anything, they'd always get moved to the front of the line at clubs.

...and if they didn't feel like going out they'd just go to one of the players houses and hangout in the basement drinking - there were always some billets who didn't really care.

It really isn't. If you know people that have played, you should know they have next to no time off as it is to go out. The ones of age will occasionaly go to a bar, but they're not getting hammered and they're not doing it all the time. Teams that let their players do that with regularity probably aren't the most reputable organizations.

The players party, the players go to clubs. Often? No, just because their schedule is so busy like you stated.

And the drinking/clubs isn't just for the 'of age' players....

I know a big boy from Thunder Bay that can have his and anothers share of drinks all summer long
