Forget the NHL.
Head down, hard work, for players who have enough skating and hands to make it to major juniors, if they just work hard on the little things, they can make an AHL roster for 10 years, retire at 30 and have millions in pocket.

I don’t think AHL players make that kind of money. It isn’t bad; like middle to upper middle class; but they’ll have to work after they retire at 30

reminds me of the simpsons episode where they thought 40 year old principal skinner making $25k a year was a millionaire

I know I live in NYC where salaries are high but that post makes me feel privileged, lol. 150k is Senior Analyst money in NYC for a high paying company.
