If Jonathan Toews (inflation adjusted) broke this threshold, Conor Bedard is going to destroy it.

always interesting when an article is posted and it's clear that very few actually read it or understand it. He's tied for 3rd in endorsement dollars but that's all anyone is mentioning. This year is his biggest bonus so of course he leads the league in total earnings. In two years his bonus will be more than $5 million less and he'll fall on this list quite a bit, it will have nothing to do with being American or having a personality or whatever.

Bieber's husband.

He is going to murse his way up to 60 goals again. Can't to wait to see him in a proper leadership role. To me he's up there in top 3 of hockey players with God given talent that don't want to play hockey.
This is some top tier brain vomit

NHL contracts are locked in for upwards of 8 years. So, while the money year to year may go up and down, that player over the life of the deal will still get their AAV per year. So, a high year will be offset by a low year.
NFL contracts are only really good for the guaranteed money portion, then it's up in the air. Devante Adams average was $28 mill over 5 years but through 3 years, his average is like $22.5 mil.

The most recognizable NHL games make $5/6 mill max off-ice. Take away the shoe deals for the top NBA guys and they still beat the NHLers fairly easily.

Only get so much reach using NHL players.
