After starting the season on the top line with Dustin Brown and Anze Kopitar, Los Angeles Kings rookie forward Alex Iafallo has bounced around between lines in recent games, and has seen his ice time decrease, and in his team's overtime loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on December 28, he played just under nine minutes, a season low for him.
.
What's going on with Iafallo? Why did ne spend most of the game against the Golden Knights watching from the bench? Read all about it at:

Love these two quotes:

"“It’s all learning from here, but that’s good,” he emphasized. “I didn’t want it to be easy, you know? It’s good to learn, every practice, every game. It’s about understanding how the game goes sometimes, using that and getting better. It’s good adversity.”"

“The one thing that’s going to allow him to get [back on track] in a hurry is that he’s really honest about his game,” Stevens noted. “He doesn’t get temperamental when you talk to him about his game. You can be very up front with him, and tell him what he’s doing well, what he needs to do better.”
“When you’re honest with your game, you can get better in hurry,” Stevens added. “You can fix things in a hurry.”"

With quotes from camp and what we saw early, we knew he had speed and a shot; we quickly learned he was as tenacious on the forecheck as anyone on the roster. But the offense (directly, I mean) never really materialized and as teams knew what he was all about and as he hit that rookie wall for college players he's stumbled a bit (but can never question his effort!). Now is a growth moment and I'm excited to see how he responds...hoping he takes that next step quickly because even as is he's an integral part of this roster. One of my favorite players already.

Thanks Gann!
