Acciari shoots right and plays right. Could swap him and Vatrano, but with the injuries.. someone had to play off wing. Vatrano has done it before.

If Krejci is out.. options are Beleskey, Spooner, Hayes, JFK.

I would go with Beleskey.

I do like Bugs point though.. Spooner could be useful on the PP with krejci out.

But 5on5 he is an extreme liability. I still leave him out.

On the PP go:

Pastrnak-Bergeron-Marchand-McAvoy-Stafford

Kuraly-Backes-Vatrano and a rotation of McAvoy, C.Miller, Liles...

You are right about Acciari

The thing is we barely had PP timr this whole series

And having spooner in the lineup could mean everyone else min go up

Tired of this (bc of a weak link)... Rather see 4 lines roll out as much as possible

Sens do this ... And thats why dont look as gassed as the Bruins by the third

Put in Spooner. Then we have at least one guy in the bottom 9 with some playmaking abilities.

Don't think I'd play Krejci either way. Great player, but a shell of himself right now with his injuries.

I'd go with the following:

Marchand/Bergeron/Pasternak
Vatrano/Kuraly/Backes
Moore/Nash/Accari
Schiller/Spooner/Stafford

D pairs the same, regardless of Carlo's status.

If Krejci is good to go than I want to see that whole game winning line kept together. This also helps us spread out the O better as well. I would go something like this.

Marchand - Bergy - Pasta
Vatrano - Krejci - Stafford
Kurlay - Backes - Acciari
Nash - Moore - Schaller

If Krejci is out than you have to bring back Spooner imo as much as his game frustrates me. I think the best thing to do would be to hide him on the first line wing. Think about it, Ottawa's whole game plan when 37-63 are on the ice is to shut them down at all cost. They're generating the most scoring chances, just not converting like we are used to. Put Spooner on their right because the Ottawa line against this line is usually not a threat at all offensively given how much effort they put into their neutral/D zone play. Thus, covering up Spooner's awfulness in our own zone.

Marchand Bergy Spooner
Stafford Moore Pasta
Kurlay Backes Acciari
Vatrano Nash Schaller

Might spread us too thin, not sure. But I guess that's how much faith i have in Spooner's play. Gotta shelter him with two of our best, plus not like he is terrible offensively, he has the skill to play with those two, just not the battle/IQ.

No one wants JFK in there? I'd give him Spooners 10 mins and not even think twice about it.
I would. Beleskey, Hayes, and Spooner haven't shown much this series so why not give JFK a shot? I would go with:

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
Kuraly - Backes - Vatrano
Moore - Nash - Acciari
Schaller - JFK - Stafford

Vatrano-Moore-Nash
Schaller-Spooner-Acciari

Switch Kuraly and Spooner if needed, but for now ride the hot hand. Keep Spooner in for the PP and play him 4th line minutes. Liked what I saw from Vatrano-Moore-Nash when they were together in Game 1.

Did people not watch JFK in the regular season game he played? Let him hit puberty before playing another NHL game, let alone a playoff game.

Anybody who doesn't have Schiller-kuraly-backes somewhere in the lineup is crazy imo. They were dynamo last night

was it schaller? I thought it was Vatrano at LW?

Whatever the case is, i remember kulary and backes were a two man wrecking crew last night...produced numerous chances

Like I said in my post, it was Kurlay - Backes - Acciari. I honestly dont think people are giving Acciari enough credit. The kid played a big boy game and that line was probably our best line. Kurlay provided the spark, Acciari works his ass off and hits like a tank, and Backes is the saavy vet who plays a hard game too. I think you gotta keep them together.

Actually, it was Schaller-Kurlay-Backes.

Acciari played primarily with Moore & Nash, but he spotted around on different lines to make up for the Krejci loss. Only Marchand, Bergeron and Pasta had more ice time as forwards than Acciari.

Really eh? I could of sworn. It was def Kurlay Backes Acciari on for the goal taken away and the shift after I believe as well? I could be wrong obviously but I found those three to be super effective.
