The more I've watched and read about Aaron Glenn the last few days, the more I love the guy. He's exactly the type of coach the Jets need. Someone who isn't going to take any BS and the players respect. I loved his responses to the media, particularly about Rodgers. I have a feeling his media pressers are going to be fun (a la Brooksie and Torts).

Of course, as a Jets fan, I'm cautiously optimistic, but this was the right hire. The man wanted this job, and not many people can say that about coaching the Jets.

If you played Dan Campbell's opening press conference and Joe Judge's and asked which one was one of the great coaches in the game and which one was an incompetent nut job. I would give you the wrong answer 100 out of 100 times. These press conferences mean nothing.

So during the Pro Bowl “festivities” they were televising Women’s’ High School Flag Football.

Ignoring the fact that this is possibly lower then semi-pro Cornhole as far as tv-worthy sports, why can’t women play tackle football? With all the pads and everything.

Can you give me a short summary of what was said (or a link)? I don't recall seeing anything (but then again, I'm a geezer, so I miss things). Thanks muchly.

People make too much out of the Superbowl QB imo. Is Hurts even a top 10 QB today?
I think he’s like, 10 at best

Mahomes
Allen
Lamear
Burrow
Stafford
Daniels
Stroud
Baker

These are for sure. Then you get into arguables like Goff, Dak, Love, and Purdy. I’d probably take Goff over Hurts so that places him at 10.

Of the active QBs today who have never been to a superbowl, who do you think will be an HOFer?
I know you didnt ask me, but Allen and Lamar. Stroud and Daniels have the potential but need to show more.

IF Hurts wins like, this year and wins again in the next two years after, *maybe* we can talk about a case for him.

Goff was way better the last 2 seasons imo. Goff was better then other guys on your list as well imo.

I would have to think about that. Why is the Superbowl the key to the HOF? Lots of non HOF have gone to a Superbowl.

yeah and he’s been part of a blown 17 point lead and an INT fest in back to back postseason games. I was almost starting to truly believe in Goff until that game against Washington. Thats just same ol Jared Goof. Good QB, borderline top 10 guy, but still unreliable.

also goff has had almost as good luck with rosters as hurts has had, and he’s had far better coaches (going from mcvay to ben johnson is ridiculous)

very, very interested in seeing how the Lions look next season on both sides of the ball. I like Campbell a lot, but this is a big test for whether or not he’s as good as he’s hyped up to be. If they can still win 11+ games losing two star coordinators, Campbell is undeniably an elite coach. But if they tread water and miss the playoffs (not impossible IMO) I’m gonna start wondering

I think the Eagles would trade Hurts for Hebert as well. I did not see him on your list. I think Goff is very good but he needs an Oline.
