Think he’s the second best coach in the league, hard to put anyone in front of Reid.

8 years as coach, 6 playoffs, 2 Superbowl’s, with 1 ring.

Yah if I had to pick one guy who can compete with Andy rn it’s McVay. No one else in really close. Campbell is an awesome motivator but I’m curious to see how the Lions look once Johnson and Glenn leave. KOC good but back to back playoff embarrassments is concerning, and the way the Vikings looked last night was BAD. Like they gave up. Huge indictment on the coaches.

LaFleur, Payton, Tomlin and the Harbaughs are in the next tier. I think Vrabel will be back in the top coach convo very soon.

They love their the Eagles and Sixers. Maybe the Phillies too. But I lived there in a playoff season for the Flyers and found one Flyers fan the whole year.
Interesting...I actually saw a good number of Flyers fans when I was there. I have a nice memory from when I went to a Flyers game against the Pens and got to witness a bunch of fans beating the crap out of each other before the game even started.

Most people watching last nights game came away thinking Darnold got destroyed. Shows how deceiving some stats can be. 25/40 for 245 yards with 1 td 1 int does not tell the story.

Sam looked lost last night but in games when his Oline blocked great and his WR were wide open he looked amazing. QB is really dependent as a position. Not excusing Sam (he was bad) but the Oline, running game and WR had off nights as well.

Will be interesting. How much will 14 wins and a Probowl mean if anything? I would not be surprised if the Vikings go forward with JJ and DJ next season.
As one of the papers put it, this season was an outlier for Darnold -- NO ONE expected it. Considering his past, it's hard to believe he will have another season like this one.

I would agree with that. I do not think Sam is as good as he played this season nor as bad as he played in previous stops. I think he is somewhere in the middle.

Which is why I see his future in the NFL as a backup......spot starter who can give you 3-4 good games.

I do not know if Minny keeps him but will be interesting to see where he ends up. Some NFL backup QBs get around $10 mill nowadays.

I think the JJ and DJ combo may be a good way to go for Minny. Let the rookie play. Then you have DJ incase he is not ready.

Things seem to be pointed in that direction right now....but who knows what'll happen between now, draft and then "opening day".

Football offseason seems to last forever.

At least I can still enjoy what is left of the NFL playoffs and NHL.

I'm not a big baseball guy so once winter sports end I'm lost. :(
