I call bullshit. The Colts aren't that inept. Only thing missing was for them to lay down on the grass to really make it easy for Lock.

I like Drew Lock so I'm happy for him but I will admit something seemed really strange regarding the Colts first half defense. Then to let the kickoff return td. Not saying the game was fixed or anything crazy. Just that Indy did not care.

They played very sloppy game on defense. The poor tackling was honestly appalling lol.

Multiple times they had a giant dead to rights and just let him slip right out

Statistically that will go down as one of the best games ever by a Giants QB. Who knew? :D

Honestly, at this point, I'd take Rex back. At least the players respect him, and he won't put up with any drama queens or BS from the players. Plus, he actually wants to coach the Jets--something I don't think many others would say, considering the clown that owns the team.

Rivera, I'll pass. Good guy, but his style is outdated, he didn't do anything in his last years in Carolina, or in Washington.

What's annoying is that it seems like the Giants are going to keep Joe Schoen and he's absolutely going to force a QB in the draft. Now he's going to mortgage a bunch of other draft picks for it.
How can they possibly keep the guy that lets Saquon go for nothing in order to sign a player they released the following year?

Interviewing Ron Rivera seems like the Jets just getting half of the Rooney Rule completed since you have to interview two minority candidates for head coach. Aaron Glenn will be the other, but he’s an actual candidate.

What the Jets need 2nd most of all (because the Johnson family selling the team is obviously 1st by a light year) is a guy in the Parcells mold. Alpha male, max credibility, full control of everything football ops and the type that will tell Woody to shut his stupid f***ing face hole and get the hell out of my office and if you don't like it than fire me.

The thing is...why are those rare type of people coming to the Jets? Woody's cheap and won't pay for that, and he is too much of a meddling turdbucket to accept a loss of control even though he fully doesn't know football. So taking the Jets GM or coaching job is not worth it for virtually anyone without a huge overpayment; new guys don't have the credibility and control, and those alpha types I mentioned earlier cost more and will have the opportunity to coach other organizations where the culture isn't as toxic and the players haven't literally quit (and that might have an opportunity to pick their own QB.)

Rex might be the only one that wants the job but he's the wrong type of guy for the Jets because he won't want to nuke the whole thing and start over and that's exactly what the Jets need.
