OT: Football thread (2024 season)

Sanders and Ward are the two top QB prospects. From my understanding, they're good prospects but the strong consensus seems to be that they are below the Williams/Daniels/Maye tier from last draft.

QBs are a crapshoot so who truly knows but that's what we got so far.

2021 with Lawrence was to be good too. None of the other 4 after Lawrence even had the 5th year option picked up.

Ward, he’s a guy who needs a great OC. He’s more off script type QB than one who can run the system of the team.

Stats wise he is having a strong season. Should end up over 100 catches. Did he say something?

The Giants aren’t just bad, they don’t even look like a professional football team.

I watch games from around the league and I see teams moving up and down the field scoring touchdowns, guys making big stops, big turnovers. The Giants don’t do anything well. The only thing Schoen has done well at this point is manage the cap.

Dabes took over a bad 4 win team. 3 years later they are currently a 2 win team on a record 10 game losing streak. Is that improvement?

No....but the press has been stirring stuff up. for instances, he only had 3 looks yesterday -- and that was late in the game. Seems since Adams came, he's been getting less and less......

Did you happen to catch the Vikes game (or the highlights). That last TD pass from Darnold was unreal.

Davante has only been targeted the last 2 weeks. Wilson may set career highs. The NY media can be horrible though so who knows.

Didn't see the Vikes stats but Darnold has been great. I'm happy for him. The coach really deserves a lot of credit as well. Possible coach of the year.

he probably asks for a trade regardless. if i was a player of any value and name on the jets id be trying to gtfo out of that shitshow.
