Teams have gotten wise to our east/west stuff. Those passes are getting broken up more then they did to start the year

When a forward has a down year like that, at that age, they don't get signed sometimes.

I know it's too early to say how he finishes the year, but you really think he's a lock to get signed if he doesn't finish with 30 points and only scores 6 or 7 goals?

Now that's ridiculous to assume he's a lock to get signed for the NHL if that's how it goes.

Remember, he's gonna be 32, not 29.

I looked it up earlier, he's the 146th oldest player to play in the league this year. Chances are he'll likely be about 100-105th oldest if he plays next year.

I get it. The puck isn’t going in. But he’s getting it on net and doing a lot of other things. Saying no one will sign an experienced center because he had a brutal cold streak is a stretch.
