If you put the numbers on the sleeve that means you don't have room to put an advertisement there. :sarcasm:

They look like cheap knockoffs lol.

Pretty weird how the sponsor is only on home and alternate jerseys. It seems that it's a philadelphia based company, so maybe they didn't want to bother ponying up some extra money to advertise to away crowds lol.

The only improvement here is the darker orange. The neon orange had to go.

The lack of piping, missing border around the sleeve numbers, and the awful sponsor patch is driving most Flyers fans crazy. We're used to being let down though.

a little over dramatic with the video. Its a jersey not a Bruckheimer movie.

Jersey are ok I guess, no trim around the numbers on the sleeves is disappointing. ad is what it is unfortunately.

Massive upgrade. I still think these reverse retros were perfect though:

Literally had the best jerseys in the league IMO. No reason to change, other than sales I guess.

Despite making the Finals in year 1 wearing their most recent road template, and having had a fun team in 2011 and 2012 with the full setup, they basically wore this past uniform set through the worst decade in franchise history.

A rebrand is probably necessary to both sell a few more jerseys, since interest in the team is so low, and to kinda signify a changing of the guard, since the last decade has been so untenably miserable.

It's maddening though because their 90s look was the best they ever had and one of the coolest, most distinctive uniforms in league history. Fans have been clamoring for them to go back to it. For this design, they leaned hard on that template, but removed some key design elements (like the contrast piping) that made it so beloved. So they just ended up with a much shittier version of an old classic. Which is, again, the franchise's whole M.O.
