Basically building Phantoms depth. I mean Barkey has to play with someone next season.

They've been talking this guy up since training camp.

This is pretty much out of the Hayden Hodgson playbook. Big ECHLer who puts up OK numbers in limited AHL time and they think he's an NHLer.

They obviously think he's good enough to keep in the organization as a potential callup instead of losing him to another franchise.

He's a solid AHL plus player, whether he can take the next step???
More talented than Hodgson, who was a one trick pony.
25g 7-4 11 (ES) is solid, but not good enough to think he's anywhere close to a NHL promotion.

A good player to keep around for a few years so prospects have some solid linemates.
And probably could fill in at 4C in case of a string of injuries with another year under his belt.
