Looked like orbital bone not the eye itself. Could still be a problem, but not as bad as a direct hit. For those parroting the "that's what shot blocking does" BS, you realize it deflected and Staal didn't even expect the puck?

It looked like it hit his brow, but I only caught 1 reply. I don't think they should be mandatory, but is a visor really that annoying to use? I've only played with the cage.
