Want to see Auston continue to show the power and drive he did last night. This is literally the winning formula for this team. As he goes, especially now that he's captain - so will we.

Power on, papi..!!

philadelphia flyers toronto maple leafs

1st game of two vs Philly.
Hopefully they won't let down after a big win last night and can keep the momentum going, take the next two.

I'd expect the 3 that sat last night to dress tonight.

Hldeby gets the net or do they bring Murray back up?

Man I wish teams wouldn't be so afraid to play a goalie on Back to back nights once in a while, I don't trust Murray or Hildeby.

That said given the option I would go with Hildeby.

As bad as he's been he is 2-1, he can gain experience and Grow.

Murray is what he is, and what he is, is not good enough

I don't think they're afraid but the team has a heavy workload, it's not practical to go with one goalie and you can't be afraid of playing a backup.

You can when neither backup is an NHL goaltender.

Wouldn't be having this conversation if Stolarz were healthy, in fact if Stolarz were healthy I suspect Woll would be going tonight.

They MIGHT get away with it against Philadelphia but both Murray and Hildeby make me VERY nervous.

Hopefully the top line can combine for another 13 point tonight

First line won us yesterday

Time for the bottom 9 to step up today

Whoever the goalie is, he will need to be good.

I think we are past that in the current era

Hellebuyck is the only goalies who’s workload would give me confidence to play him both games,

I remember we used to run Freddy Andersen sometimes both games too.

Don't necessairly care how they win, but I feel they should be able to do enough to win.

All eyes will be on Matthews to see how he responds to his first game in some time.

Goaltending may make this tough on us, as either option other than Woll has been shakey.

No more b2b's this month after this one, so if they can get through this one they can settle into a bit or a routine for a little while.

Fun fact: Vancouver has only played 4 B2Bs so far and they have lost all games in the 2nd nights.

That’s good. Feels like we’ve had a ridiculous number of back to backs through first half, whether that’s actually the case or not

Some teams have had a lot, some have had only few. It varies. The schedule is condensed because of the 4 nations. Either way, everybody plays 82 so I don't see the need to complain (not that you have done that) about too many back to backs for the team.

Boston is playing tonight, Tampa is playing tonight, everybody is dealing with it.
