The Flyers did a great job taking the puck away from us in the offensive zone so we didn’t generate any sustained pressure and little dangerous movement. We crack that, think we can swing things our way. If not, flip a coin because it’ll be a puck luck and who can capitalize on chances game.
The past couple years I absolutely despise losing to the Flyers because I am so personally convinced that we have a better team than they do. But CBJ can’t seem to play well against them.
Ugly period. Tarasov has kept us in it. Torts' Flyers are hard to beat on the wall. I don't know an easy solution to that. We just have to do a better job of covering the open man and stay in it.
Maybe more high flips and send someone to back off their D. And in the offensive zone play a tighter triangle because they're outnumbering us quickly on the puck carrier.
Please, please, please... I really want to see Angry Dmitri.
The funny thing is if someone takes a run at him, he barely seems to notice. But if someone takes a run at Marchenko he will go off.
I haven't seen a replay but I thought the pass was in his skates and he got under it.

Pass was definitely in his feet. Great read and attempt on the pass but just missed his spot a bit
You might have to put thumb tacks in Voronkov's equipment, because it's usually like he doesn't even notice guys like Hathaway running around.
I mean this is how logic would dictate... sadly in reality when you start hoping for this, it rarely works out.
Wish we could have gotten a hot mic to hear whatever Jody did directed at the Flyers
