Larry Brooks? As a person, he’s done amazing work involving charities. Didn’t he used to call the one kid who was handicapped daily while he was coaching the Rangers?
I can appreciate this. If only the Pens could put someone above Sully (naturally a Torts disciple himself) who would hold him accountable as well. We're gonna suck major ass next year anyway so congrats.
I just want everyone on this roster to get screamed at until they quit or get better. It's what they need.
I don’t get the timing of this at all
Oh my.Calling it now. Next stop: Buffalo.
My French is terrible (I haven't even tried since I was in, like, fourth grade) so I had to resort to some online translation as a guide, but I suspect he'd just memorize one phrase and repeat it every time someone asks him to answer en Francais: "C'est de la merde; citez-moi la-dessus."I'd love to see 77 year-old Johnny Torts trying to hold a postgame press conference in Montreal.
Most successful so far, to be sure. That said, it's still too soon to tell on Evason but so far he's looking very good.Still the best coach in Jackets history
Right? Torts single handily cost MM the Calder. His treatment/ usage was criminal. MM excelled in spite of Torts.lol what
He just told publicly that he's given up. No shit you're going to get fired after that.I don’t get the timing of this at all
Keep that angry man away from Anaheim.
Yeah. No other team has had a season-long team save percentage of <.880 since the expansion teams in the late 90s. It's staggeringly bad, and the worst thing is that with a goaltending trio of Ersson (which is a stupid name, cause no one is named Er), Fedotov (who is literally JUST large), and Kolosov (who is somehow even worse than Ersson and Fedotov), it's not even surprising. He can still coach..............Underlying stats and metrics are quite serviceable....Horrible goaltending numbers and a middling roster is what did them in....
Fortunately for them they're bottoming out now and they need a few years of that so they can stop middling.....
