Only member of the coaching staff I would keep is Brylin.
I'm not sure if McGill is a problem or not. I think both special teams run through Lindy Ruff and the power play has been mediocre to bad the entire time he's been here, under 3 different coaches running it. It's been overall good this year, but it's wildly overachieved and is now experiencing a complete and utter market correction bust cycle.
The PK system/scheme this year is a complete joke. Looks like it's just there to block shots and defend. Not much of a plan to get clears.
Chris Taylor is a Ruff lackey. He was brought in by Ruff, so I think he'll be gone whenever Ruff is gone.
Green probably needs to go because Green sucks. MAYBE he'd be okay if we gave him another head coach, but he shouldn't be the next head coach. I'm pretty sure he sucks. I don't think he's ever had an NHL assistant job to be able to say if he sucks as an NHL assistant or not. I think he was in Utica (when they were the Canucks AHL team) for years, then got promoted to the head coach of the NHL Canucks, before getting fired, sitting out for almost 2 years and answering the call to Fitz this past offseason.
It's really hard to tell how much of this is on the assistants or the big man in charge of the assistants.
Last year we were 12th in expected goals on the power play. I think we even finished around 12th in percentage. I'm not sure if we've dropped below 12th on the season yet, with how bad we've been lately. But we're 22nd in expected goals at 5 on 4.
