@GKJ

We’re at the first autopick for the mock. I’ve messaged @Wangstar and hopefully a pick is made soon.

We don’t have a list yet to take the autopicks from, any suggestions?

On the mock draft subforum, we usually just autopick from the CSS list, skaters only. Two NAs, then a Euro. So whoever is the highest ranked NA skater remaining would be the pick here, next autopick would also be NA, then the next would be a Euro skater, and so on.
We will do that then. Too bad we don’t have @denominator ’s consensus list. There’s a team waiting for him if he returns. Autopick coming up shortly.

Barry Trotz: So I got a pair of Swedes and I'm sure I'll end up with at least one more Canadian. Throw a dead cat and you hit a Canadian around these drafts. Not that I'd waste a dead cat. You'd be amazed how useful the tendons are, in that-

Gary Bettman: For the luv of- Trotz, knock the macabre stuff off.

Barry Trotz: Putz. Anyway, I only have one Russian so maybe it's a good time to get another. I'd mention the better chance of genetic compatibility, but you-know-who would get up in arms about it. Anyway, who knows? Maybe this guy ends up like Predators great Alexander Radulov. Except without the bolting back to Russia thing. And also the breaking curfew in the playoffs thing. Okay, so maybe not like Radulov. A Russian JP Dumont?

Before Bettman gets uppity, let me say that the Nashville Predators are pleased to select, with the 58th pick of the 2025 Entry Draft, from Tolpar Ufa of the MHL, Alexander Zharovsky.

Picked at 39, right?

Gary Bettman: In light of Barry Trotz's clear case of dementia, which has been on display in almost every move he has made as GM, the league will be intervening and nullifying their attempt to steal Buffalo's pick.

Nashville's pick at 58 will be Benjamin Kevan from the USHL.

Barry Trotz: That's what I meant to say! I knew we never drafted Russians!

Since Tampa Bay so rudely snaked the pick of the mighty Blackhawks, they have changed course and will now select Matthew Gard, C, Calgary, WHL.
