I just remember how shocking it was last year when our offense dried up and Connor was just as snakebit as the rest. He wasn't even creating which was really surprising to me.

To that point I couldn't remember a significant stretch where he looked impotent like that.

Well, when he (or any other offensive player for that matter) goes cold for a while it doesn't stand out if others are picking up the slack.

But I will grant you that he is not as streaky as some. His cold spells have usually been fairly short. But didn't he have a very slow start last year? Just my memory.

I think 3/3 LA kings toiling for awhile. 13 has been MIA for a long time now. Take out that awesome 5 game stretch in December and he has not done anything.

So .......... maybe we just broke even on that trade?
