Roslovic has been damn good. Much better than I was expecting. I would like to see Roslovic Sheifele Wheeler/Laine. I think he's an NHL player now, can't put toothpaste back in the tube.

I had one team I worked for a few years ago doing AHL stats for them.
I made suggestions for call-ups and they said budget/cap manipulations actually prevented them from using my suggestion every single time, despite them wanting to follow my advice.
There's a lot of things that goes on beyond what may be the team's best chance at winning in the present.

I still believe that this is a reason why Laine has been kept off Scheifeles line this season. It's wise from a cap management point of view, and the team has still scored plenty enough.

I also think that it is a top prio this year, but asset management and laying the puzzle with our up and coming stars and becoming a contender for years to come is right up there aswell, me thinks.

Very true. However, the choices you make today will affect the future.

For the record, I think it is far-fetched to say that they are purposefully holding anyone back for cap flexibility, but I wouldn't rule that possibility out either.

I don't think so

Maurice said he would need to get through a couple practices with full contact first. Practices are scheduled for today, wednesday, & thursday. Tuesday not an option but friday seems likely
