A couple of observations from an outsider:

1-You can tell when Murray is tracking the puck well and when he's not. When he's not, he's off his angle and too deep in the net because he doesn't have confidence of where the shot is going.

2-Why does Rielly go deep into the offensive zone so much? It's like he's decided he's a forward now. I understand that offensive defensemen jump into the play from time to time, but it seems like Rielly's way too often going behind the opposition red line and vacating his D position.

Go back to the mains troll

Yes. A meaningless Jan game has as much impact on our playoffs as our bad October did. But let's ignore the 90% of the season we've played elite hockey
I know the game is not over but this is shaping up to be 3 in a row and the worst part is how bad Murray is

Reilly has always played like a forward

Never judge a team at their best or their worst. Right now we're at our worst stretch of the season which isn't even that bad. Relax.

Not good numbers

Tavares and marner are going to do better in the second. And in the dirty third. They are minus 2 and still standing. What!!!

For people who are skeptical of the Leafs as championship contenders, it just comes down to the underlying human factor - a lack of trust in the key players. High ceiling, low floor and let downs at very predictable times. Under estimate weak opponents, no show to gimmie games, melt under pressure. When you see similar trends it doesn’t give you a lot of confidence a Game 7 won’t produce the same results.

They cave against physical teams and play scascared
We'll see what happens in the second. I think that was more leafs just playing like shit then anything. Murray let in a brutal softy and their powerplay... sure they got one but it sucked. The coverage on D isn't great and some forwards are not back checking very well. Alot of self inflicted shit that period.

I am fine with being upset at losing or bad play. The toxic part is people just go over the top. Murray could have 10 shutouts in a row and then a start like tonight and half the posts are like "you are never winning with this AHL goalie! Fire Dubas!!!"

Exhausting
Yeah we remember that one guy wanting Dubas fired for trading Douglas. Talk about hot takes

Sure. Meanwhile I've been consistently defending teh team the past few years. I'm the last person to be calling out for this
