Marner family blessed with good timing. At home for the next 5-6 days to nurture, enjoy and celebrate. Dad strength Marner on the way! (Or super tired...)

Newborn baby… unfortunately he is going to extremely exhausted over the next few days. Hopefully the team provides him and his wife with a full time nurse or something so they can both get some rest. Still, congrats to him, new babies are a very special occasion.

Matthew Tkachuk didn't practice today, but will be ready to play Game 1.

What exactly are you looking for when someone says a team plays a certain system. Are you asking for numbers e.g. a 2-1-2 forecheck? Are you asking for pie graphs, pictographs, algorithms, heat maps? Clarify for me.
He's looking for you to get totally fed up with his saying "that's not a system" to everything, and quitting the conversation, which he will then consider a 'win'.

I'm sure him and his family on both sides considered this and will allow him to rest as much as possible lol.

My wife went through a full 24 hours of labour when our kid was born before they threw in the towel and went with a Caesarean, 21 years later I still make the joke "You have no idea how tired I was that day." Somehow, I'm still married.

Fixed it for you……

Wife was a week late for our 1st and 15 hours later nothing. Ended up having a Caesarean as well.

He’s now a 20 year old 6’2 240 lbs weight lifter who benches over 450 lbs but he will always be my little boy.

It goes so fast. Enjoy every minute. Some minutes are more enjoyable than others though.

Everyone on the team says we play different lol, if you're actually still arguing it's similar you're either an idiot or being argumentative for its own sake, our both. We were a possession team for years, take the puck in and hold it. Now we dump constantly and pressure on the forecheck. On defence we move everything to the outside, allow more shots but better angles. We collapse down low, look for the lanes, Keefe had us up higher pressuring the points. We're way more physical on the wall. Keefe and Berube are very different style wise, as are Tre and Dubas in how they construct a team. I can't believe any serious person would try to argue otherwise at this point.

Just to be clear you do understand that I'm not arguing they aren't different right?

They VERY clearly are

My kid's a big dude too. Pretty sure he could kick my ass so I need to use psyops to keep him inline.

Of course he will, It's playoff time players play through injury this time of year.

I don't think Barkov is 100% right either if he were Florida wouldn't be 49% in the faceoff circle

All things considered it's pretty bad timing for poor Mitchy, but sometimes these things have a way of working out.

Congrats and best of luck!

I'd be comfortable with facing the Panthers, were it not for Marchand - I think he'll be their most dangerous forward.

So I'm a mouth breather upset over numbers? Sorry Skippy, but I guarantee I am far more educated than you.
You may or may not be right but you sound like a complete douche when you say you're more educated than a random dude on the Internet lmao.

Bruh let it be.

15 of 16 picking the Panthers is wild:

I think it's doable but on the coach to split Marner and Matthews. Marner needs to be used tactfully but instead he is stapled with Matthews and constantly cheating. How annoyed would you get playing with Marner hanging up high hiding all the time. Matthews has to play wing and C FFS and a lot of people on this site shit on Matthews and praise Marner.

Truly strange stuff. New lines needed to combat Florida but it's winnable. 30 70 odds or something

No way! he is going to be energised and excited to hide up high. There will not be an issue and this is just pre baked excuses for him. He has a big place, he has a wife that understands and I am sure grandparents will be supporting them.

Literally not an issue but being AstroTurfed. I swear only Marner has narratives sketched out like this for everything he does. It's super creepy and weird.
