Florida Meetup thread

So my buddy and I are flying to Florida for Game 3, and he's staying for Game 4. Any other die-hards going to be there? Where is the pre-game Oilers hangout going to be?

I’m thinking about it. It will be a last minute decision depending on the results of Games 1 & 2.

Pregame hangout could be Tkachuks driveway.

So jealous. I love my wife and kids, but sadly they have made it impossible for me to go on this trip that I would 100% be taking in an alternate universe lol.

It's such an easy trip to make too. Flights on points (although the flights suck), pretty good air bnb in the area of the rink for ~$300/night, tickets are reasonable (about $5-600 if the same as last year), and there is a ton of golf to play between game days.

I'll just keep fantasizing about it though lol.

Im waiting to see if I win Lotto Max tomorrow night and I'll c u guys down there. I've been in that rink. I dare say Oilersnation will be well represented

Yeah, I got my flights on points, and found tickets from a Season Ticket Holder in a private Facebook chat. His response after transferring the tickets and googling me: Wait, you're an Oilers fan? I should have charged you more!

He seems to be a cool guy - invited us to his Club seats for pre-game drinks.

South Florida is so spread out. I assume folks are staying at hotels near Sawgrass Mall and hanging around there?

I was going to attend a game but I have family visiting the entire week here in Orlando.
