Yuck the last two games looks too much like the January funk to me. Nothing at 5v5, giving out rush chances like tic tacs, 79-8 looking like the worst pair you’ve ever seen. Quick wasn’t great but we scored 1 PP goal and that’s it.

Despite what the numbers might say I thought Philly pretty much had that game in hand after they took the lead, I can’t recall the rangers having any dangerous chances after the first period, maybe Laf when he cut in.

Philly is a terrible matchup for the rangers. To be honest I’m not sure there are any great matchups for the rangers, but teams that play like them give this team fits. They don’t score if the Panarin line doesn’t score.

It still felt like a game where every look they had went in.

I wouldn't take much from it beyond our second pair shouldn't see NHL ice and we lean too heavily on one line, but I take that from every game.

The passive group is concerning. Lack of intensity. This team is a regular season team, basically another version of the Leafs with better goaltending and a little better defense. Just as soft and passive

Maybe Laviolette can explain why he's willing to make adjustments but the K'Andre-Trouba pairing pairing and the Zibanejad-Kreider grouping are ironclad.

2 shots on goal in the third on a team tha gave up 9 goals last game. What goes on in between periods? Nap time? Quick was not his best but there is plenty of blame to go around in this one.
