I thought Podrekar played really well the last half of the year or so but I can’t see him being back. Day has to be gone after what he did in the ECHL. Clattenburg? Unlikely but not completely out of the realm of possibility. I think the OA’s are Thibodeau, Wang and Mania. The goaltending has to be addressed in a major way. Not only do they need a starter, they need a backup unless Courville manages to prove he can hold that spot down. Still, I’d rather see him getting increased starts at a lower level first but you never know. Keyser, Cavallin and Day all stuck as 16yo’s and they all turned out pretty damn good. I really have no idea how things will shake out this year with all the NCAA movement but it should be interesting and Flint should be ok unless/until they start selling off pieces.

I thought Jardine was committed to Harvard? Not sure about Wyttenbach but if they just took a flyer on an older kid in the 4th with no type of commitment that’s just ridiculous. Also par for the course with this club. As far as Mania goes, that sucks to lose an asset with no return but I was never a fan and I can’t believe Michigan has a spot for him. The trade with Sudbury last year was bad then Collins and Konyen went down making it worse and now with Mania gone…..

And wyttenbach as of right now apparently doesn’t have a team lined up for 2025/26 so would make perfect sense to head to you guys for this year. Either that or another year in the USHL which let’s face it- OHL is way better

I mean if Flint can get Both those guys along with Allen on the back end, there could be a chance there to make a run. The forward core would be solid from the jump. Would just need a for sure goalie, which could come in the import draft, and shore up the defense a little.
