I’d love to see Kressler come back and the ‘Birds get a few games in with a fully healthy roster. They’ve got the job done with him out of the lineup and it’s given the kids more ice time to develop but man is he a huge help winning face offs and shutting down opposing forwards.

Yeah…..another solid win missing 2 of their top 3 C’s and what’s basically half of their top 6. To chase Gaudreau from net is impressive. They’ll be hard pressed to repeat that this weekend. They stayed even with Windsor and Guelph but gained a point on London. No game for the Soo today. They must not care about families up there. Also I thought Kuzmin’s hit on Panwar was a little high. I hope he doesn’t get suspended.

I was going to ask you to hang around and be my ears for the auction. With my hearing issues, the acoustics in that building, and the way the auctioneers call it, I cannot understand anything they say so am at a real disadvantage in a live auction. Assuming I decide I want to bid on one of them.

Will be interested to see if “Flint Generals Night” will attract more than the average of 2,300 a night for Saturday night games this hockey season.

Do you think they do a live auction for this one. It’s funny OHLInsiders reported about the Othmann thing but I never read or heard ANYthing from anywhere/anybody else.

Next Up: Saturday, February 26th will be Flint Generals Night, sponsored by Lewis Tree Service when Flint takes on the Sarnia Sting at 7:00 p.m. The Firebirds will wear special throwback uniforms honoring the former team that used to call the Dort Financial Center (then Perani Arena and Event Center & IMA). There will be a postgame jersey auction to follow the conclusion of the game by Tim Narhi Auctioneer & Associates, LLC. Additionally, several Flint Generals Alumni will be in attendance for a pre-game Meet & Greet on the concourse. All tickets for Flint Generals Night can be purchased on ETIX HERE or at the Dort Financial Center Box Office.

Nothing yet. You did see his tweet or whatever about the fight over the Othmann jersey at the last auction right? No other media reported on it that I saw other than a few small internet sites that only quoted him. I keeping forgetting to ask around but NOBODY has mentioned it at the rink. Some of the sites reporting it were pretty comical. Just typical ridiculousness Flint has to deal with.

Sounded more to me like it was grownups being asshats. There were people in some of the Firebirds Facebook fan groups who claimed to have witnessed it but it all died down pretty quick.

It is a live auction. And there is a reason why OHLINSIDERS had it and then took it down.

Yep old news. if anyone wants to see just how old the news is just go back to the first half thread and reread the postings from around Sept 23, and 24, . Given the current state of things you will just be awestruck at how wrong posters got it back then.
