100%

Right now, it is if nothing matters. No accountability from the coach and the GM is MIA. I have seen JC Bergeron, Tugnutt, Chabot, Kuntar, Jablonski, Racicot, etc and Primeau makes me miss one of these sieves.

The team has certainly not played up to expectations, not a chance. You were predicting 85 pts, MGT was spewing "in the mix". They were out of the mix by the first week of November, lol. Mgt were trying to sell they would be playing meaningful games near the deadline, and that could not be farther from the truth. So far, this year has been a disapointment unless your on board with the tank.

Certainly not up to expectations, Dach, Slaf, Newhook, Struble, Math, Pri, and Roy. The bright spots have been Gally, Hein, Lane, and Evans. Great, but that is a symptom of the problem when these guys (except lane) are your bright spots, it means others who should be have sucked. And of course NS and CC carrying the team on their backs.

Hugo is going to have to supplement this squad with FAs and better trades because they are not going to just draft their way out of this mess. And when they do make such moves they better be more careful because the ones they have done so far (NHL guys) have been less than stellar.

Oh yeah, last but not least, hire real NHL coaches.
I mean we're a four game win streak from the playoffs. There's a lot of teams in the mix this year. Chicago would need an 8 game win streak or better to accomplish the same thing.

We also didn't have Laine for two months who was our only real acquisition on the summer and has been an important piece offensively since he returned. His metrics are career low by an unsustainable amount and he's still .8 ppg.

We probably are closer to 30 points without his injury which is very much "in the mix".

Not to mention primeau is completely undoing whatever games Monty steals.

Regardless it was obvious HuGo see the timeline of the rebuild as longer than fans do by essentially adding zero vets and gifting spots to guys like Barron.

Playoffs, hahahaha, not happening.

Go look at Jan schedule, the only game I see they have a good chance is Jan 3rd against the hawks. The rest of the month they could get smoked.

Right. And that was based on us having Hutson and a good 2nd line. That’s where I said we’d improve.

I said our D would suck.
Going by what you previously posted: "The team has played to expectations outside of that second line." which is not true at all.

Anyway, Mgt was throwing out "in the mix", which is certainly not the case so far it has been a disappointment.

Why is it a disappointment? You said the below in the tank thread, so which one is it? Judging by all the threads you're going in to complain, you're just a drama queen and just itching to complain.
"Hope they get run out of the building.

Season was over first week of November, so just go Ofer and go for Hagens. Sad, but this is the state of this sorry team.

I think they have. First line has played well. Same with the bottom six. D has sucked.

Nobody will disagree with that.

Interesting to see the d corps without Savard. Another team who is very young on defence is the Rangers. Not going too well there either, it puts extra stress on the goaltenders. The Habs got away with that last season keeping three goaltenders. Expecting any goaltender to play 60+ games with the speed of the game now don't believe is a good idea. Sooner or later it will have to be addressed by the Habs

Its a disappointment because meaningful hockey was over a long time ago. I expected them to at the least come close to the 76pts last year. They are on pace for 70. Thats a disappointment.
Unlike you, I'd like to see a competitive team someday before I die!!! Last team that was worth squat was Serge Savards squad in 93, 31 yrs ago. Perhaps, you love watching 9-2, I don't.

At this point, why do I care if they get a meaningless win and finish 6/7/8 ova when the season is done. Clearly they suck hard, so do it right, and get the absolute best pick they can get.

We will have to leave it agree to disagree.

So far this season is a failure in many ways.

That doesn't send a message to anyone but some crybabies on this forum. Don't apologize, no one takes your panic moves serious enough to care. xD

Are you in locker room? Can you tell me why Dach and Slaf have given up?
