Coro on 1st line, and the bros together at the morning skate

Solo going from the press box to the top pair has to be the quickest promotion in Flames history lol

Well well well, I was almost stoned a couple of games back suggesting moving Coro up (though had Bee acclimatising next to Backlund)...

For Christ sake, Rooney defo has some dirty photos of Huska :D

Ryan, FFS, just demote this plug already.

Coaches don't demote people, the GM does.

Rooney continuing to get a shift is mind-boggling. Read on CP that he has an xGF% in the 30s over the past 20 games. He sucks, he f***ing sucks, and I'm sick of this team icing crap on their 4th line. Not a fan at all of Hunt getting into a middle 6 role either.

Solovyov to the left of Weegar/Andersson is a great move been waiting for that since Bahl went down
Coronato moving up after the last few games is another good move and I like getting Hunt into the line-up.

Would have liked to have seen Morton in for Rooney with the weird AHL/NHL breaks but maybe that's not in the cards until the deadline.

Thank God Huska is sticking with Rooney as the 4th line center. :sarcasm:

Also glad to see the Farabee 1st line experiment is done. Pairing Farabee with Frost is where I thought he should be from the beginning. Not sure why Huska thought he was a first line winger.

Good luck Mr Hunt. You deserve your chance.

Good chance for Solovyov to step up and take a spot here.

I thought he looked way out of his depth in his limited NHL experience last year but he’s had a good year for the Wranglers. Already up to the top pairing with Andersson is a big ask though

I was kind of hoping Vladar would be in net tonight.

Yeah... that's right. I still haven't given up on the dream of a Flames bottom 10 finish. :vhappy:

Just 20 games?

I'm just happy that he remembers which team he's playing for.

Playing someone on the first line doesn't mean the coach thinks they are a first liner. Especially on a team where we'd be generous to say we have 2 first-line forwards... Huska can't just magic a 1st line RW out of thin air.

I think we're at the point where the Canucks pull away from us. Maybe the Miller/Pettersson feud was a bigger deal than I thought. But on the other hand who knows with our squad. Could go right to the end.

Go Flames!
Vancouver does seemed to have turned it around since the Miller trade was made. 7 out of a possible 8 pts in games played since then.

Apparently Demko left their game tonight, if he ends up back on IR, that means Silovs will see some time and Lankinen will get overused and he's not as good as he was earlier in teh year.

Silovs got such a raw deal after performing so well last year and n the playoffs IMO. Would like for his sake to show himself well again. But not at our expense :nono:

Time to get back in the win column. Go Flames.

 :pickle:

I won't saying I'm cheering for a Flames loss tonight but I certainly won't be upset if we don't win.

I'm not a Dr but it doesn't appear too serious. He also does have the next 2 weeks to rest and recover.
