Let's be honest: the Flames are terrible... There's about as much hope they'll be in the mix as the Habs...

There's no GDT so I have created this one. I am not on Twitter so don't know the lines, but you're better off not knowing them, they will only make you complain...

Go Habs Go!!
I’ve watched the Flames and they are not as bad as the Habs right now.

A yuge picture, frankly a great picture. No body paints a better picture, believe me.

Last season you needed 91 pts in the east to make the playoff.

Habs have currently 9 in 12, so they would need 83 in 69 if they lose tonight in regular time. That’s .601 hockey. To give an idea, only 10 teams play over .600 hockey right now.

Not saying the season is over if they lose this tonight, but seeing it like that put things in perspective.
This season was never about the playoffs.
It's more about taking a first step.
I remember posting something along the lines of "let's wait until we've played 10 games" before even mentioning the P word.
It will take another 10 to show us if we can manage the fake .500 level.
I was also hoping we could cut the differential to close to flat that won't happen.
The only thing to look forward to is individual progression at both levels and staying healthy if possible.

If they play like they have since the start of the season it's a guaranteed loss.....unless Monty stands on his head.
