I didn't hear this personally but I wouldn't be surprised. They probably want someone in place for the draft.

Brad isn't that bad. A lot of his decisions made sense at the time even if they turned out to be shit. He's decent enough to have learned from some of them. We should hope he lands out east.

They aren't spending $100 million (roster + coaches + adim) to tank for picks.

I haven’t liked many of his depth moves. Basically Brodie was his best move IMO. The Sandin move is a head scratcher.

Actually looking at his transactions page he’s been a pretty brutal GM.

Young and progressive BUT Calgary isn’t built like a Dubas team so he would want to tear it down and then build it up and he has the experience and credentials to demand that
