Looking at tankathon, we currently have 14 ov (ours) and 16 ovr (Cal) is this accurate?
Two top 20 picks would be nice

CGY only 2 points from 11th and 4 points from being in top 10. With an extremely difficult March schedule going to come right down to the wire I think. If draft were held today, Utah would be picking 11OA & Cgy 19OA despite only 3pts difference in standings.
Lots can happen in last 20GP
With Boston and the Islanders having been sellers at the deadline, it is starting to look pretty good for us to draft twice between 11 and 18 this year, while enjoying a playoff chase for our favorite team. The odds of making the playoffs for Calgary and Montreal are below 30%, so, we are likely looking at two top 15 picks. Brady Martin, welcome to Montreal.
Let’s hope for benefit of Habs fandom they end season w 11OA pickCGY only 2 points from 11th and 4 points from being in top 10. With an extremely difficult March schedule going to come right down to the wire I think.
I still feel CGY will be in the top 10 by seasons end. Let’s hope FLA doesn’t win the division!
I’ve hated Calgary since ‘89 and they’ve done little since to change my mind.
They will surely f*** us. I’m positive of this

Man I never even remembered Peplinsky till now. I barely remember that time. My first year as a Hab fan. But man was hockey fun at that timeHated them some MacDonald , peplinsky, fleury and Hunter
What about Hakan Loob?Man I never even remembered Peplinsky till now. I barely remember that time. My first year as a Hab fan. But man was hockey fun at that time
I think last nights loss was perfect to ensure CGY pucks 11th.Calgary good team. They come at you hard, well structured with solid netminding. They keep playing like last night will make playoffs
If we can walk away from round 1 with Mrtka (RHD) and Ryabkin (C) ill be happy. With Boston and the Islanders having been sellers at the deadline, it is starting to look pretty good for us to draft twice between 11 and 18 this year, while enjoying a playoff chase for our favorite team. Less familiar but vaguely rings a bell. What about Hakan Loob?
Is it possible that McQueen or Frondell slip out of the top 10 because of their injuries and lack of exposure this year? That is extremely high risk/high reward.......would take some big kahoonas but I definitely don't hate it. I haven't done enough research yet to be confident in an endorsement but at surface level it is an admirable swing for the fences move. I could conversely see them going the opposite route with two of Martin/Hensler/Cootes/Zonnon as well in a safe character/depth mode.
My guess is they take a swing with one of the 1st rounders and go safe with the other.
I am on the O'Brien train right now with our first pick.

I would only consider moving up if it was to snag one of the top 4 (possibly) DesnoyersIs it possible that McQueen or Frondell slip out of the top 10 because of their injuries and lack of exposure this year?
Also, would trading both first round picks be able to get Montreal to move up? Is it reasonable to think that 14th + 16th could get into Desnoyers range?
Isn't that a problem-solving principle like Occam's Razor - Hakan'sWhat about Hakan Loob?
With this draft -- where it is really unclear where some talents will shake out from, I think that we might see draft day trades out on the (virtual) draft floor like we did during Hughes first draft.I would only consider moving up if it was to snag one of the top 4 (possibly) Desnoyers
Why spend serious money on jellies and creams when you can just Hak some Loob out the old gullet?Isn't that a problem-solving principle like Occam's Razor - Hakan's
