I’m not saying this because we suck at OT. But I am tired of 3v3 hockey. It doesn’t even resemble hockey with all the skating in circles and retreating to the neutral zone.

Anyway, season’s over. Can’t believe we lost to McDavid-less Oilers team twice. Are we still paying Sutter or can we let Huska go soon

Anyways, the team is playing to not give up an 11-14th pick at this point… like they’ve been for months.

Can’t imagine how bad things get once the wheels fall off Kadri. It was fun getting sort of close to the dance, but it’s going to get worse before it gets better imo.

Probably done. Still some hope left.
Huska is bad coach and it shows. Be the better team for 50 minutes and then sit the entire team back, cheap chips with one person breaking out in the neutral zone lol. Asking a team with Leon Draisaitl to come at you in waves is just asking for it.

On to the next.

Maybe it's because I'm old and ties were part of the game for a lot of my life... but I'd rather 5-on-5 for 10 minutes and if it ends in a tie, so be it.

I’d give them another year, but it’s telling that Frost went from a half ppg player to considerably less than that here. Huska just hasn’t gotten enough out of the fwds this yr imo.

Not good enough in the 3rd. Have to do more than dumping puck around.

Shows how important a gamebreaker is. Flames have none, and have to fight tooth and nail just to scrape a goal out.
and all it takes is for the other side is one shot. We always struggle with teams that have this player(s).

Can't see this Oilers team going very far anyway.

Last year I believe was our low point.
Simply because if the wheels fall off then we’ll actually be in a position to draft someone with some skill.

This team, unless Parekh is as good as he might be, will be mushy middle until it just falls apart (think Iggy’s last year).

Not a bad year (2025) to have an unexpected season with how weak this draft is. Probably not a good one next season to horseshoe out the bum.
 
That was brutal. Avs can put us out of our misery on Monday. They have so much firepower I'm still in shock at the grade A chances that STL kept out earlier today.
